On 15th August 2022, I, Lung Chi Cheung, with other volunteers followed Capt. Ng onboard Panama registered vessel – ‘M.V. Asian Sunrise’ to participate ship visit and onboard learning at Pun Shan Shek Anchorage.

| M.V. Asian Sunrise was loading and unloading the cargoes in Hong Kong. This is my first time to visit the vessel during its cargoes operations. We visited around different compartments of the vessels such as the accommodation, kitchen, medical room, bridge etc with Chief Officer. During the impact of novel coronavirus (COVID-19), we cannot join the lunch with the Master. We also talked about the living styles and working pattern under the impact of novel coronavirus.
在香港主要在錨地裝卸貨物。第一次近距離看到躉船在船旁協助裝卸貨物。船上大副帶我們到船內參觀，包括起居室、駕駛台、醫療室、餐樓和廚房，了解船員生活和工作。本來船長為我們準備午餐，但因疫情，我們不能除口罩進食，只好替午餐拍照留念。和船長閒談了個多小時,可了解船長生活和疫情下做海員的辛酸。希望疫情快些過去，等大家回復正常生活。 |
